Lars-Erik Ekdahl var under sin första skoltid på realskolan, springpojke i Hildas och systern Augustas speceriaffär på Vitfeltsgatan i Göteborg.

Bifogat brev från William Andersson vars grand grand grandfather var Gustaf Fredrik Andersson. Bror till Lars-Erik Ekdahls farfars far.

"What a nice photograph of Hilda & Augusta & your father. It must have been
taken around 1910 or so. I still can't get over the coincidence of me having
this post card and you having this photograph, and how things match up.

You know it is very interesting that Hilda & Augusta had their grocery store,
(Is the store or building still there?) because Gustafs' oldest son, August,
opened a grocery store in Spokane, Washington around the turn of the century,
and my grandfather went to Spokane to help him around 1910. This was before
my grandfather was married. His brother August and his family is one branch
of the family that I have yet to research.
But we always wondered why great-uncle August moved from Wisconsin to
Washington State. I intend to find what the connection was. But maybe he
got the idea of a grocery store from relatives back in Sweden.
