Albert Felix Bjorling never married. He received a BSEE degree from Indiana Institute of Technology in 1960 [with a minor was in Mathematics], Upon graduation in June 1960, Albert and a friend visited Europe for five weeks Flying the SAS airline between cities in Europe. They visited with his father's sister Svea Hallgren in Askim. Aunt Svea and friends warmly met Albert and his companion at the Airport with flowers and many Hugs. Here he met his cousins and many family members. A party was given in his honor. At this party were many family members. After staying in the home of Aunt Svea for about a week the left to continue the trip including many countries of Europe.
As a member of Society of Manufacturing Engineers [SME] Albert received a life member CMfgE. [Certification of Manufacturing Engineer Computer aided design] Albert's Engineering career ranged from Design Electrical Engineer to E.E. Dept........ Manager. About 1986 Albert left corporate salaried employment to become an E.E. consultant and a Contract Engineer specializing in Instrumentation and Controls, some involved Programmable Logic Controllers [[PLC] and Computer aided logic design, field trouble shooting/debugging. Many of these contracts were in distant cities, NJ and MO for Lever Brothers Soap Powder packaging, KS for GMC for automotive assembly line controls. Albert was a Master Mason of the Brooklyn, NY. Mayflower Lodge, and later a 32nd degree Mason from the Valley of Toledo Lodge in Toledo, OH. where he became a Shriner. Completed his Engineering career with a project for Cegelec-AEG in Pittsburgh, PA Feb...... 28, 1997 when he retired.
